ICN Weekend School "Message from
the Principal
Dear Parents, Assalamu-alaikum,
Alhamdulillah we have
had a successful start to our Weekend School year. May
Allah (SWT) reward you and your families for their
efforts and contribution toward the success of our
school.
I would like to share
the progress to date and areas we are working on to make
it better.
I encourage parents to take active role in the ICN
Weekend school and provide your valuable feedback.

Weekend School Programs in Progress:
1. New Youth Program
2. Weekly Progress Email from Teachers
3. Attendance/Tardy Record Improvement
4. Surah Club Program
5. Essay Competition
6. PA announcements @ 10am ( Important
updates, Quran/Hadith recitation, Talent Time )
7. ICN Weekend School Teams ( Security, Registration,
Policy & Communications, Lunch,
Prayer, Books, Special Events, Office Admin, Evaluation,) Each
team has a Lead assigned to manage the
tasks/program.
InshaAllah more programs will be announced( Hajj
special event, speech competition,Guest
Speaker/s, Qirat
competition, Field Trips)
Areas of Improvement:
1. Home Work/Quiz/Test
Homework is essential, but we want to
make sure it is appropriately assigned and sent to
the students timely.
2. Parent Teacher communication ( weekly
emails)
We know few parents are not receiving
emails from teachers. Please email, call or send
the note with your child, we will update the
records.
3. Website Update
InshaAllah new web portal will be
available soon.
4. Teachers Training Program
Review what's working and what's not
working, discuss successful teachers training
methodologies and curriculum update.
May Allah keep us sincere in our efforts, and count
this effort as a sadaqah jariah for all of us (
ameen ).
